Erik Leif Jakobsen (1916-2008) was a Danish managing director and civil engineer. He was educated from Odense Katedralskole and graduated as cand.polyt. in 1942. Jakobsen worked as an engineer at Aarhus Belysningsvæsen, became operations engineer in 1950, and managing director of Elsam from 1956 until his retirement in 1984. He served on various boards, including for Danatom and the Danish Electrotechnical Committee. He wrote about his life during the occupation and had family ties to the resistance movement but chose not to engage personally.
