Erik Skinhøj (March 18, 1918 - March 1, 1983) was a Danish professor and doctor of medicine specializing in neuromedicine. He served as the rector of the University of Copenhagen from 1979 to 1982, winning the position against the incumbent Morten Lange. Skinhøj was the son of school teacher Jens Skinhøj and nurse Mary Gudrun Geckler. He married twice, first to Vibeke Dahl and later to Kirsten Høy, with whom he had three children. A portrait of him was painted by Victor Brockdorff in 1978.
