Bror Erik Therman (1906-1948) was a Finnish-Swedish librarian and author born in Helsinki. He was the son of librarian Uno Therman and Thyra Hagelstam, and brother to teacher Tor Therman. Therman worked as a library assistant in Turku and Helsinki before retiring in 1947 due to health issues. He published his first poetry collection in 1928 and went on to write poetry, novels, travel narratives, and short story collections. Therman was involved with Pro Arte artist group and Lapin Sivistysseura, and he wrote a book about Sámi culture.
