Errol Clince (1953-2014) was a New Zealand professional hunter and self-taught engineer. He gained fame for discovering the wreckage of a Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft on Mt. Taranaki, solving a 32-year aviation mystery. A skilled hunter, he worked for the New Zealand Forest Service, accumulating over 5000 animal kills. Known for his engineering projects, he built black-powder cannons and gyro-copters. Clince passed away from cancer in 2014.
