Ersin Erçin is a Turkish diplomat currently serving as Turkey's ambassador to Brazil. He began his career at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1982, working in various departments related to economic relations, international security, military relations, and disarmament. He has also represented Turkey at the UN and held positions in embassies in Khartoum and Damascus. In 2009, he was appointed ambassador to Brazil and serves as a special representative to the Turkish president on European security issues.
