He became well-known in Germany from 1977 for his illustrations in numerous series such as Gespenster Geschichten, Bessy, Lasso, and Silberpfeil. Over the years, he has primarily focused on designing advertising campaigns for various brands, creating book covers, and designing CD and LP covers, including work for Romantruhe and the horror series Gruselkabinett. Edirne has been living and working in Germany since the early 1980s.
