Erwin G. 'Bud' Tamms was a former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and a businessman who founded Tamms Lithography in 1968. Born on January 4, 1931, in Milwaukee, he graduated from Washington High School and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. As a committed Lutheran, he contributed to his community as a Sunday school teacher. A Republican, he served in the Assembly starting in 1968. Tamms passed away on October 21, 2011, leaving behind a wife and three children.
