Eskil Eckert-Lundin was a Swedish band leader, composer, arranger, musician, impresario, and music administrator. Born on June 24, 1906, in Helsingborg, he started his first orchestra in 1924 and led various revue orchestras. From 1946 to 1953, he served as music director at AB Svensk Filmindustri, and from 1948 to 1965, he was the conductor and head of the Chinateatern. Additionally, he was the chairman of the Swedish Musicians' Union from 1941 to 1948 and editor of the magazine Musikern. He passed away on March 13, 1974, in Stockholm.
