He is currently with the Minnesota Twins organization, assigned to the Fort Myers Miracle, an advanced Class A team. De Los Santos signed with the Twins as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He showed improvement over his early career, ranking highly in several league statistics in 2007 while with the Beloit Snappers, including leading with 60 runs scored and making the postseason All-Star selection. He primarily plays as a shortstop.
