Estelle D. Weigel Schmitt was an American figure skater born on November 18, 1914, in Buffalo, New York. She excelled in ladies singles, winning a bronze medal at the United States Figure Skating Championships in 1934. Weigel also represented the United States in the 1936 Winter Olympic Games. Her contributions to the sport were recognized posthumously when she was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame alongside her sisters Louise and Mary on October 9, 2018.
