Ester Šank, born Näpping on March 13, 1956, is an Estonian journalist and public relations specialist. She graduated from Türi Secondary School in 1974 and earned a degree in journalism from Tartu State University in 1979. She has worked as an editor for several publications, including Ühistöö, Rahva Hääl, and Maaleht. From 2002 to 2006, she served as press advisor to President Arnold Rüütel, followed by public relations roles in the Tallinn City Council and Central Government, and currently teaches Estonian language and literature at local schools.
