Ethem Karpat (February 23, 1921 – July 17, 2014) was a Turkish footballer, known for his role as a goalkeeper. He started his career at Beşiktaş, where he became a significant player alongside stars such as Faruk Sağnak and Şükrü Gülesin. He earned recognition as the 'least conceding goalkeeper' in 1948. After retiring, he worked at Sümerbank and remained an active member of Beşiktaş's board until his death. Karpat is remembered as one of Beşiktaş's unforgettable goalkeepers.
