Eugen Gressner (November 17, 1907 – March 30, 1998) was a Slovak physician and a pioneer of gerontology in Slovakia. He served as an emeritus chief physician and educator while also being an expert publicist and organizer in health care within the field of internal medicine. In 1969, he co-founded the gerontological section of the Slovak Internal Medicine Society, which became a separate entity in 1970. He was instrumental in promoting the field of geriatrics, leading to the establishment of specialized clinics and research institutes during the following decade.
