Eugenia Kosowska was a Polish folk poet born on February 5, 1918, in Majdan Krasieniński. She completed five grades of primary school and later moved to Jakubowice Konińskie. Kosowska began writing poetry at the age of fifteen and later published works across various regional and national magazines. She was an active member of folk literature societies and won prestigious literary awards. Married to farmer Stanisław Kosowski, she raised three children and devoted her life to her craft until her death on May 18, 2003.
