Known by the pseudonym 'Anita', she served as a soldier in the Home Army and participated in the Warsaw Uprising. After the war, she became an activist in the Veterans' Association of the World Association of Home Army Soldiers, achieving the rank of Major in the Polish Armed Forces (reserve). She passed away on October 2, 2016.
