Eva-Aet Jänes, born on May 30, 1942, in Tallinn, is an Estonian painter known for her monumental artworks. She graduated from Tartu Art School and the Estonian SSR State Art Institute as a monumental painter in 1970. Jänes is one of the few artists in Estonia who employs various techniques in monumental art, creating numerous murals and stained glass for buildings. One of her significant works includes a fresco for the administration building of the Piira Veterinary Clinic, completed in 1976, notable for its preserved interior design.
