Farida Eva Riyanti was a prominent Indonesian economist and CEO, known for rescuing PT Indofood Sukses Makmur from a major financial crisis. Under her leadership, the company faced significant challenges during the 1997 monetary crisis, which severely impacted sales of its flagship product, Indomie. After graduating from the University of Indonesia in 1973, she successfully reduced the company's foreign debt from US$1.2 trillion to US$313 million by June 2000. She resigned as CEO in December 2003 to allow the board to recruit a successor.
