Evert Offereins (1936-2008) was a Dutch veterinarian specialized in equine medicine. He established his clinic in Bosch en Duin and quickly gained a reputation, attracting horses from throughout the Netherlands. After 35 years of practice post his wife Willie Bos's passing, he turned to writing books and columns for equestrian magazines. He was actively involved in horse competitions and served as the team veterinarian for the Netherlands at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Offereins was recognized as an honorary member of the Groep Geneeskunde van het Paard.
