He graduated from the Moscow Mining Academy in 1927 and had a distinguished career, working at various research institutes and serving as a professor. As the founder of a scientific school in open-pit mining, he contributed significantly to the design and reconstruction of multiple mines. He was awarded the Stalin Prize and recognized as a distinguished figure in science and technology in the RSFSR. Sheshko passed away on January 22, 1961, and is buried in Moscow.
