Eystein Borgen, born on May 2, 1963, is a Norwegian inventor and entrepreneur in the wind power industry. He founded Sway in 2001, a company developing floating turbines and towers for offshore windmills. Under his leadership, Statoil became involved in the project, securing a quarter-billion krone investment. In 2010, Sway Turbine AS received a license and a record 137 million krone grant from NVE to develop the world's largest wind turbine at 10 MW. He graduated with a master's degree in marine technology from NTNU in 1988.
