Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain was a 20-year-old Bangladeshi youth who was killed in the Dhaka attack in July 2016. He was the grandson of Latifur Rahman, the founder of Transcom Group, and Shahinaz Rahman. His father, Mohammad Waqaar Rahman, and mother, Simin Hossain, worked for SKF Bangladesh Limited. He had one elder brother named Zaraf Hossain. Faraaz was a student at Emory University in Georgia, USA, and was visiting Dhaka during his summer vacation.
