Farid Haghighi, born on December 2, 1989, in Tehran, is a prominent Iranian karateka known for his achievements in karate competitions. He started training at the age of 8 under coach Bahram Azizi and later trained under Amir Yari since 2003. Haghighi gained recognition as the first male medalist from Iran at the Kata World Championships, winning several medals, including silver in the World Karate Championships in 2007 and again in 2013 at the Karate1 Premier League, along with a bronze in 2012.
