Farouk El Merrakchi is a Moroccan physicist and writer known for being the first Moroccan to write scientific books in Darija, the local Arabic dialect. Born and raised in Marrakech, he pursued his studies in France, obtaining a master's degree from INSA Toulouse. Inspired by the need to explain complex scientific concepts to younger audiences in their native dialect, he began writing in 2009. So far, he has authored four scientific books focusing on various topics, showcasing his commitment to education and language development in Morocco.
