Farrokhroo Parsa (March 22, 1922 – May 8, 1980) was an Iranian physician, educator, and parliamentarian. She served as the Minister of Education in pre-revolutionary Iran, making her the first woman to hold a ministerial position in the Iranian government. Parsa was an advocate for women's rights in Iran. She was executed by firing squad on May 8, 1980, following the rise of Islamic rule in Iran, on religious grounds.
