He was one of the founders of the Jordanian Writers and Authors Union and served as a board member from 1987 to 1989. He worked as an expert for UNESCO in Paris and held various significant positions, including Director of Public Relations and the television project at the Jordanian Ministry of Information, and Director of Broadcasting and Television in the UAE.
