Feliks Surkis, also known by his pen name Feliks Dymov, is a Russian and Soviet writer born on October 8, 1937, in Leningrad. He began his studies at the Leningrad Military-Mechanics Institute in 1955 and became a professional writer in 1970. His first story, 'Mysterious Engraving', was published in 1968 in the Baikal magazine. He has been involved in publishing since 1989, leading the 'Licey' publishing house, and has served as the chief editor of the 'Guitar of Time: Anthology of Author's Song' project since 2000.
