José Fernando de Almansa Moreno-Barreda, born on October 4, 1948, in Granada, is a Spanish diplomat and the 10th Viscount of Almansa. After inheriting the title in 1979, following his father's death, he pursued a law degree at the University of Deusto. Joining the diplomatic service in 1974, he has been posted in Brussels, Mexico, and Moscow. He served as head of the royal household for King Juan Carlos I from 1993 to 2002 and was later granted the Grandee of Spain title along with the Grand Cross of the Order of Charles III.
