Fernando Carazo Castro was a Galician footballer and carpenter born in La Coruña on April 6, 1904, and died in Belo Horizonte on July 18, 1986. He was one of the first idols of Cruzeiro, known as Palestra Italia at the time, and the second foreign player to join the team. He scored 44 goals, holding the record for foreign top scorer for over 70 years until surpassed in 2014. He won the Mineiro Championship four times with Cruzeiro and four Paulista Championships with Palmeiras, making notable contributions to Brazilian football.
