He began vocal training with Charles Guild and later became a radio announcer and news presenter. Casado hosted his show on various channels and represented the Dominican Republic at the OTI Song Festival twice. He performed at Carnegie Hall and made guest appearances on popular programs in Latin America. His contributions to music were recognized with honors, including being named an honorary citizen of Santo Domingo.
