Ferry Souvan, born Ferdinand on May 1, 1919, in Volčji Potok, was a Slovenian lyricist, composer, and entrepreneur. He is renowned as the first lyricist for the Ansambel bratov Avsenik. Throughout his career, Souvan created several major hits for the ensemble, including 'Tam, kjer murke cveto,' 'Večer na Robleku,' 'Na mostu,' and 'Pri Jožovcu.' He passed away on October 31, 1974, in Ljubljana.
