Fleeta Drumgo (1946–1979) was an American convict associated with the Soledad Brothers, who were charged with killing a prison guard in 1970. He attempted to escape from San Quentin Prison in 1971, resulting in multiple deaths. Drumgo was acquitted of the charges in 1976. After his release, he lived in the Bay Area and was murdered in 1979 under suspicious circumstances related to alleged dealings with law enforcement regarding a lawyer's shooting.
