Florent (Flor) Hubert Bex is a Belgian art historian, art critic, curator, artist, and author born on January 26, 1937, in Antwerp. He is also known by the pseudonym Hubert Van Es. Bex served as the first director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Antwerp (M HKA) from 1985 until 2002, significantly influencing the contemporary art scene in Belgium during his tenure.
