Florin Comișel (1922-1985) was a Romanian composer, pianist, and conductor known for his contributions to choral and orchestral music, as well as folkloric music collection. He trained at the Bucharest Conservatory and became a professor of harmony and conducting. Comișel conducted various artistic institutions and was a prominent figure in theater music, notably writing 16 operette titles. He was recognized as Artist Emerit for his significant artistic contributions. He was the son of conductor Gheorghe Comișel and had a noted ethnomusicologist sister, Emilia Comișel.
