Folke Samuel Jonathan Anger was a Swedish industrialist born on January 12, 1906, in Angered, Västergötland. He served as an officer in the Älvsborg Regiment from 1928 to 1930 and was promoted to captain in the reserves in 1941. After studying business and languages in Germany, the UK, and France, he worked at Osram-Elektraverken during 1933-1936 and became its sales manager in 1937. That same year, he became the CEO of Gropptorps Marmor AB and, from 1944, served as chairman of the Swedish Stone Industry Association.
