Folke Mannerstedt (1901-1987) was a Swedish engineer and constructor known for his groundbreaking work in motorcycle development. After graduating from the Royal Institute of Technology in 1929, he joined Husqvarna as a product developer. Mannerstedt significantly advanced motorcycle technology, notably launching a racing machine with a custom JAP engine in 1930. He later experimented with lightweight materials for new engines and contributed to military vehicle design during WWII. His innovations earned him recognition in the motorcycle racing community.
