A.J.G. (Fons) Zinken is a Dutch politician, born on December 10, 1942, in Berg en Terblijt. He represented Partij Nieuw Limburg and Leefbaar Nederland during his political career. Zinken started as a civil servant and served in the Limburg Provincial States from 1993 to 2003. He also chaired the OSF's scientific bureau. Though he was initially elected to the Senate in 2003, a voting mistake led to his defeat. He later managed Leefbaar Nederland amid legal troubles, and from 2008 until mid-2020, he chaired the VPPG.
