Francesc Cassú i Jordi is a prominent Catalan musician, born on October 25, 1965, in Girona. He has been the director of the La Principal de la Bisbal since he was 26 and is a renowned composer of sardanes. Educated in music by notable instructors, he co-founded the baroque music group Undarius and teaches harmony. He is also a co-founder and co-director of the Symphonic Orchestra of Cobla and String of Catalonia. In 2018, he premiered the opera Llull in Girona.
