Francesc Martí i Jusmet is a Catalan archaeologist and politician. He was a member of various political organizations, including the PSC, and was elected as a provincial deputy in 1979. He served as a city councilor in Barcelona and was the president of the Diputació de Barcelona from 1980 to 1982, where he reformed the Biblioteca de Catalunya. He later became the Spanish government's delegate to Catalonia from 1982 to 1993, during which he dealt with events such as the ETA attack at Hipercor and participated in discussions leading to the dissolution of Terra Lliure.
