Francesco Paresce Marconi (April 11, 1940 – December 20, 2019) was an Italian physicist and astronomer. He was the grandson of Guglielmo Marconi, as his mother was Marconi's eldest daughter. Throughout his career, Paresce held research positions in Astronomy at various universities in the United States and Italy, as well as at the European Space Agency and the European Southern Observatory (ESO). His work significantly contributed to advancements in the field of astronomy.
