Francisco José Pérez y Fernández-Golfín was a Spanish clergyman and bishop of Getafe. He was born on February 12, 1931, in Madrid and was ordained a priest on May 26, 1956. Appointed as auxiliary bishop of Madrid and titular bishop of Tigillava by Pope John Paul II on March 20, 1985, he was consecrated on May 11 of the same year. He chose the motto 'Libentissime impendam et superimpemdar ipse pro animabus vestris.' He later became the bishop of Getafe on July 23, 1991, serving in that capacity until his death on February 24, 2004, in Getafe.
