Francisco Luis Martín Gallego, commonly known as Francisco Martín, born on March 8, 1966, in Santander, is a Spanish civil engineer, university professor at the University of Cantabria, and independent politician. He has served multiple terms as a counselor in the Government of Cantabria, including positions as counselor of Environment from 2007 to 2011 and counselor of Innovation, Industry, Tourism, and Commerce from 2015 to 2021, with tourism responsibilities from 2019 to 2021. He was also the president of the Port Authority of Santander from February 2021 to October 2023.
