Frank Chapot was an accomplished American equestrian who represented his country at six consecutive Olympic Games from 1956 to 1976, securing two silver medals in team show jumping. He served as the chef d'equipe for the American equestrian team from 1980 to 2004, guiding them to their first Olympic gold at Los Angeles 1984. Additionally, he coached the show jumping team until 2005 and gained recognition for breeding and training Gem Twist, a top showjumper. Later in life, he transitioned to being a jump course designer and judge.
