Frank Cignetti Sr. was an American football player and coach known for his tenure as the head football coach at West Virginia University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He coached from 1976 to 1979 at West Virginia and from 1986 to 2005 at IUP, achieving a remarkable record of 199–77–1. Cignetti led the IUP Indians to the NCAA Division II Football Championship title games in 1990 and 1993 and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
