Frank Costin (June 8, 1920 – February 5, 1995) was an engineer and pioneer of monocoque construction. He worked at de Havilland during World War II, where he applied his aerodynamics expertise to racing and sports car designs. He co-founded Marcos Cars in 1959 and designed the lightweight 'Xylon' using a plywood chassis. His works included the Costin Nathan and Protos Formula 2 car, contributing to Lister Cars and Lotus Cars. He also created bodies for Maserati and Lotus and designed models like 'Mini Marcos' and 'Costin Amigo'.
