Frank Lantz is an American video game designer born on December 17, 1963. He is the Founding Chair and now Chair Emeritus of the NYU Game Center, having taught game design for over 12 years at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program. Lantz co-founded the game development studio area/code, which was acquired by Zynga in 2011. He is known for his work on the puzzle game Drop7, described by The New York Times as the 'reigning genius of the mysteries of games.' He has also contributed to discussions on games, technology, and culture.
