Frank Hamilton Otway was an American professional basketball player born on March 1, 1923. He played for the Chicago American Gears in the National Basketball League during the 1944–45 season, appearing in just one game. After serving in the Marine Corps and attending the University of Chicago, he tried out for the Gears after seeing an ad. However, his career was cut short when his commanding officer forced him to resign. Post-war, he furthered his education at Rider University where he played basketball until his death on April 21, 2022.
