Frank-Peter Bischof is a retired German canoeist born on August 20, 1954, in Forst (Lausitz). He competed for East Germany in the 1970s and 1980s. Bischof won a bronze medal in the K-4 1000 meters event at the 1976 Montreal Olympics and placed fifth in the K-1 500 meters at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. His achievements include five medals at the World Championships from 1978 to 1982. After retiring, he became a coach and is married to fellow canoeist Martina Bischof.
