C. Frank Zarnowski is an American author, historian, coach, commentator, and statistician known for his expertise in decathlon. Active since 1970, he has been a public address announcer at national championships and announced on five occasions when world records were set. He runs the DECA: The Decathlon Association website and publishes a weekly newsletter. A former economics professor, he has taught at Mount St. Mary's University and Dartmouth College. His works, including award-nominated books, reflect his authority in the sport of track and field.
