Franklin Jabini is a Surinamese evangelical theologian born on January 17, 1965, in Brokopondo, Suriname. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Bible studies from the Caribbean College of the Bible and a post-doctorate in Bible translation from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He obtained his PhD in missiology from the University of Zululand in 2004. Jabini currently serves as a research professor at CCBI and a professor of Intercultural Study at Emmaus Bible College, Dubuque. He has published various works on the history of Christianity in Suriname.
