Frans van Zoest, known as Spike, is a Dutch songwriter, guitarist, and backing vocalist for the rock band DI-RECT. Born on May 28, 1984, in The Hague, he has also worked as a DJ, performing under the name DJ Spike at various events. He collaborated with the rap group ADHD in 2004 and served as a coach on RTL's Tourette on Tour in 2014. His notable accolades include winning the golden baton in the Maestro program and conducting at the New Year's concert in Amsterdam's Royal Concertgebouw.
